Benefits of ECA financing
Financing of business with buyers in non-OECD countries (i.e. CIS countries) without state backed insurance can often not be realized. Therefore it is advisable to make use of state insurance that is in most countries available through state owned Export Credit Agencies (ECA's). With the support of these ECA’s, complex cross border projects can be realized together with commercial banks.
Most ECA’s are member of the Bern Union an association that safeguards a certain cross border quality. Every financing project involving an ECA requires a careful preparation:
• description of the project – business plan
• balance sheets in accordance with IFRS (International Financial and Risk
Accounting Standards) or IAS (International Accounting Standards) standard.
Our specialists support you with the preparation of the formal requests and conducting the negotiations.
Factoring – a form of financing based on receivables from deliveries and services.
There is a much bigger number of factoring providers than for trade credit insurance. In Russia alone there are more than 50 companies, banks and specialized factoring entities, which are offering factoring solutions.
One would find a wide product range: there is a variety of possibilities for combination of the three main services of factoring: finance – delcredex (taking over the risk of non-payment) – administration.
We are offering solutions for debt based financing through a close cooperation with a number of factoring companies. Due to our specialization in trade credit insurance we can combine the possibilities of factoring and trade credit insurance in a clever way.
